3 months old

Stop it right now!

I just blinked, and this is what happened.

My baby turned 3 months old on 4/21

Brant and I joke that we can’t have any more kids because they would all be downhill from Simon. He’s just too perfect!

If I don’t write down just a few things about him here, I probably won’t write them down so bear with me capeesh?

-He is our little cuddle bug. He loves to nurse and sleep and cuddle in the night. He’s happy 100% of the time as long as he is being held. He loves to be held cheek to cheek, and has the softest baby cheeks in the world.

-He started going to bed for the night around 8pm (hallelujah I have my evenings back!). He still gets up 2-3 times a night.

-He weights around 14 lbs

-He got his first illness this past month and had to go to the ER in St George because the instacare wouldn’t see him cause his fever was too high. It’s hard having a body sometimes!

-Brant nicknamed him “The thickness” and we also call him “husky”

-He laughs whenever you ask him in a high pitched voice “Did you poop?”

-He’s really easy going.

– I feel guilty for not taking enough pictures of him, when realistically between my iPad, iPhone, regular phone, and Canon, I take a picture a day. Still, it’s not enough! He’s growing toooo fast!

-Claire is extra extra sweet, kind, and tender with him. She loves to baby talk with him. We call her the “coo-er one upper” cause whenever you coo at him, she has to come and coo equally as much (if not more).

– He has made me realize even more the value of my time as a mother. I have loved this time home with my children. The longest I’ve been away from him thus far is around 4.5 hours. I missed him so much!

-We are so happy to have him in our family and love him with more love than our hearts are able to hold! I just want to burst!
