Piazza on the Green Wedding – www.katepease.com
When I first met Mallory, the very first words out of her mouth was “Please shoot my wedding!!!” and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be given the honor to document her and John’s day at Piazza on the Green. The love between the two of them and the love surrounding them by their families is palpable. You could nearly cut it with a knife! There were many tears of love and joy shed on their beautiful day.
Mallory’s mom is just the sweetest. They both shared so many sweet moments together throughout the day. Mallory is her only daughter, so many emotions were felt seeing her get married to the love of her life. Mallory and John decided to do a first look, and it was so personal, intimate and special. All the nerves they had before the wedding melted when they saw each other. John was blown away at how beautiful Mallory is. Because they had a first look, it afforded us time to do bride and groom portraits before the wedding. A luxury we wouldn’t have had if they waited to see each other (because of their timeline for the day). I’m so glad we were able to capture these moments. I absolutely love the way they look at each other while they’re saying their vows. First moment as husband and wife!
It’s not at every wedding where I can steal the parents away for a portrait but I was lucky to this time. They are such wonderful people! I was also able to steal Mallory and John away from the dance floor for a few moments of quiet together at sunset. Mallory’s Dad’s band played and brought the jams!!! Mallory and John shared a private last dance before leaving the reception. Congratulations you two!!!
